Hello! My name is Marēna Tokareva-Ivanova, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to get to know me and my art!
I grew up in Latvia, and after graduating high school, life's path took me to Great Britain. Struggling to decide what profession to pursue, I spent many years working in sales within the fashion industry, which gave me wonderful experience in communication with people, work structure and design, but failed to give my soul fulfilment.
In 2017, I left my job at a fast fashion company in London, as I realised how negatively such companies affect the environment and people's thinking. I decided to inspire at leat a little change in that through learning new skills and acquiring knowledge. So after finishing my silversmithing course at London Jewellery School, I went on to create my own silver jewellery brand, MARÈNA INSPIRO (formerly known as FABLED SILVER). Through it I could, just as in my own home, focus on sustainability, recycling materials and exist in harmony with Nature and the Universe.
Since 2020, I'm back home in Latvia, where it feels like every day I learn something new about myself and I become more and more aware of my core values as a person - openness, honesty, authenticity and empathy. And by following these principles, I feel that I am able to create something truly beautiful and individual for anyone whose path crosses mine.
MARÈNA INSPIRO perfectly encapsulates my feelings towards what I do and love - to draw inspiration from the inner growth process, colourful life experiences, from fairy tales, myths, the magic of nature and art, and finally passing this inspiration through my work to... You. I want you to find something close to your heart and soul in my jewellery. And ultimately, my dream is to inspire you through my work and create a safe “space”, where you can remember your strength and learn to trust your inner voice.
